Azure Stack HCI: 1 Day Advisory Workshop
In this workshop our Cloud Solutions Architects will provide you with an overview across the latest technologies and concepts in Azure Stack HCI and Azure Arc.
Summary
Azure Stack HCI is a new hyperconverged infrastructure host platform from Microsoft delivered as an Azure service providing the latest security, performance, and feature updates. Deploy and run Windows and Linux virtual machines (VMs) in your datacenter or at the edge using your existing tools, processes, and skill sets. Extend your datacenter to the cloud with Azure Backup, Azure Monitor, and Azure Security Center.
What is the Offer?
CDW’s Azure Stack HCI Advisory workshop is a 1-day hands-on workshop for TDMs, IT professionals, and developers who are responsible for implementing and operating hybrid and multicloud environments. Our Cloud Solutions Architects will provide you with an overview across the latest technologies and concepts in Azure Stack HCI and Azure Arc. Attendees will have the opportunity to understand foundational concepts as well as practice scenarios with optional hands-on-labs.
Topics in the HOL include:
• Deploy the Azure Stack HCI20 H2 and Azure Kubernetes Services on Azure Stack HCI • Connecting Azure Stack HCI to Azure Native services • Onboarding VMs and Kubernetes clusters in to Azure Arc • Deploy the Azure Arc data controller, Azure SQL Managed Instance & Azure PostgreSQL
Why Azure Stack HCI?
Azure Stack HCI was developed with four guiding principles in mind to improve the operation, performance, scalability, and flexibility of your data infrastructure:
Azure is hybrid by design—Centrally manage and monitor clusters from Azure Portal and benefit from fleet management for hosts and virtual machines (VMs) using native integration with Azure Arc and Azure Monitor, along with connections to Azure hybrid services like Azure Defender, Azure Backup, and Azure Site Recovery.
Enterprise scale and great price performance—Modernize compute and storage infrastructure, consolidate virtualized and containerized workloads, and reduce costs while gaining cloud efficiencies on premises.
