Azure Landing Zones Accelerator: 10-Day Workshop

Aware Group have designed this Azure Landing Zones engagement to showcase Cloud Adoption Framework, Cloud Governance and Landing Zones principles through a series of hands-on-labs and proof-of-value exercises, built in your Azure tenant.

Over the course of two weeks, we’ll work side-by-side with your team to create and configure an Azure tenant and subscription (if required), implement a framework with naming conventions, tagging strategies and working with the business users to implement Azure Blueprints that suit your business' needs.

Your engagement will be targeted to your specific needs, but may include:

Discovery Planning & preparation to gather background, define approach and business problem.

Milestone 1 (Day 1) Azure platform overview, spin up subscription in your tenant, introduction to governance in Azure.

Milestone 2 (Days 2-5) Establish and implement naming conventions, foundational Azure Blueprints and policies, Cost Management controls.

Milestone 3 (Days 6-9) Establish and implement Azure Landing Zones pattern covering architecture, deployment & identity.

Close-out (Day 10) Summary report, future planning, retrospective, next steps + wrap-up.

In practice, the workshop usually extends to 3-4 weeks, with gaps inserted to reduce interruption of business for the client.
