AI Playground for Executives: 4-Hour Workshop

What problem are we trying to solve? AI is generating a lot of excitement, with a focus on generative AI applications like ChatGPT. However, AI encompasses a wide range of applications, from simple algorithms to complex deep learning methods, each valuable in specific contexts. These applications offer substantial potential to enhance efficiency and optimize processes across various industries. It's essential for non-technical stakeholders, especially business leaders/executives, to understand AI's significance. Yet, finding accessible and practical information about AI can be challenging, as much of the available material is either overly abstract or technical, making it difficult for non-experts to grasp.

The "AI Playground for Executives" is the solution We've created an "AI Playground" to effectively introduce AI to non-technical stakeholders in an engaging 4-hours session. The Playground comprises various stations, each highlighting a key AI capability. The goals of these stations are to raise awareness about important AI applications, simplify the underlying technology, and provide hands-on experiences. The aim is to demystify AI, making it accessible, and inspiring participants to think of their own AI-driven use cases based on what they've learned.

Agenda and Setup

Each station consists of two main components:

• Brief and easy-to-understand information on the corresponding AI application, the underlying AI technique, and current challenges and limitations.
• An interactive demo showing an example of the application-area being tackled within the station. These demos are developed and hosted on Azure cloud and are accessible via web-interface.

Participants are guided through the different stations by DAIN experts.

• The AI Playground can be experienced in person (e.g., on client’s premises) or online.
• Optionally, the content of the stations can be customized based on customers’ preferences, e.g., to focus on a specific industry (subject to negotiations).
