Azure Migrate Services: 4-Week Implementation
Following an Azure Migrate Assessment, Connection offers a full range of migration services to assist your organization in migrating workloads to Azure through rehosting, refactoring or rebuilding.
With critical business drivers such as OS end-of-life, aging infrastructure, mergers/acquisitions, etc., comes the need for organizations to consider migrating on-premises workloads to the cloud. On the other hand, technical teams are also being tasked to deliver cloud-based agile applications, platforms and infrastructure, as well as, providing secure access. At Connection, we take pride in designing your cloud migration strategy to Microsoft Azure.
Deciding which migration strategy is the most suitable for your organization is critical. Connection separately offers a recommended Azure Migrate Assessment prior to engaging in our Azure Migration Services. This engagement will help your organization understand business and technical requirements to build a strong migration plan, as well as, reducing the chances of adverse effects on business continuity during the migration process.
Azure Migration Services
Move your data, applications and infrastructure to Azure using Connection’s Azure Migrate offering. Once we have a solid understanding of your technical and business requirements, Connection offers a full range of Migration Services following the three R’s to assist your organization in migrating to Microsoft Azure through a custom Statement of Work.
Rehost: Often referred to as “lift and shift” migration. This option doesn't require code changes and allows you to migrate your existing apps to Azure quickly. Each app is migrated as is, to reap the benefits of the cloud, without the risk and cost associated with code changes.
Refactor: Often referred to as “repackaging,” refactoring requires minimal changes to apps so that they can leverage Azure PaaS. This enables you to also apply and leverage DevOps easily.
Rebuild: Rearchitecting for a complete rebuild for migration focuses on modifying, extending and sometimes completely starting from scratch using Azure native technologies to optimize your app architecture for cloud scalability.
