Microsoft HPC Pack 2019 on Windows Server 2022. Deploy a high-performance computing (HPC) cluster
Microsoft HPC Cluster Pack 2019 on Windows Server 2022
Deploy a high-performance computing (HPC) cluster by using Microsoft® HPC Pack 2019 on Azure. HPC Pack allows you to create and manage HPC clusters consisting of Windows or Linux compute nodes, part-time servers, workstation computers, and dedicated or on-demand compute resources that are deployed in Microsoft Azure.
This image contains the Windows Server 2022 Datacenter operating system with HPC Pack 2019 setup package to create the head node of an HPC Pack 2019 cluster or add additional compute nodes to an existing cluster in Azure. Choose to install using Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Express locally or use an existing SQL DB. We recommend using a VM size with at least 8 vCPUs. If you plan to add cluster compute nodes to the head node, the VM must be created in an Azure virtual network. Configure the network before creating the VM.
