BlackArch is a penetration testing distribution based on Arch Linux that provides a large amount of cyber security tools. BlackArch Linux contains several hundred tools targeted towards various information security tasks, such as Penetration Testing and Cybersecurity. The BlackArch Linux repository contains more than 2800 tools that can be installed individually or in groups.
We created this VM workload to allow for teams to focus on their project and not how to deploy the project to production.
We configured BlackArch Linux Desktop UI as Xfce. Note: The first time that you pull-up the UI it will take a second or two to initialize the UI environment. (This will only occur the first time that you connect to the UI Desktop using RDP.
How to install BlackArch Linux Tools
To list installation options of BlackArch Linux Tools: at bash prompt: sudo pacman -Sgg | grep blackarch | cut -d' ' -f2 | sort -u
# To install a category of tools, run
$ sudo pacman -S blackarch-
