Disaster Recovery is the planning and IT strategy put in place by an organization to limit downtime of any systems, processes or applications that essentially run the business. If an organization has a security breach (such as a ransomware attack) or network outages, a Disaster Recovery plan outlines the steps taken to set up an alternate environment which your primary environment can fail over to. This is also referred to as Site Level protection. This ensures that all your mission critical systems can still run, your data is secured, and employees can still access applications which they use to run the business.
Azure Site Recovery offers ease of deployment, cost effectiveness, and dependability. Deploy replication, failover, and recovery processes through Azure Site Recovery (ASR) to help keep your applications running during planned and unplanned outages. Once set up, this is provided as an on-going Managed Service over a 12, 24 or 36 months term.
