An Azure total cost of ownership (TCO) assessment is a measurable and effective process to assess current state infrastructure investments and translate that to Azure architecture and Azure economics. A TCO assessment will consider hard costs like physical machines, servers, storage, software licenses, and data centres, as well as soft costs e.g. labour. It will help you understand what you’re currently paying for your IT infrastructure and how this translates into an Azure implementation including cloud optimisation opportunities, for example in volume licensing.

This is a fully funded* Microsoft Solution Assessment by a Telstra Purple Cloud Consultant with the use of industry leading tools to assess onprem infrastructure and resources and to understand the total costs of moving these workloads to Azure. The assessment also focuses on mitigating licensing audit compliance risks by assessing current licensing requirements and leveraging hybrid cloud benefits where applicable.
