What is Microsoft Fabric?

The Microsoft Fabric platform offers a comprehensive analytics ecosystem that includes data processing, data science, real-time analytics, and business intelligence, all enhanced by AI. It provides data lakes, warehouses, data engineering, and data integration services, centralized and driven by AI. The platform operates on a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, which simplifies integration and use. 

3 Day assessment

The assessment will encompass an evaluation of the complexity of current on-premises and cloud data systems and provide the recommendations for a Microsoft Fabric architecture and an implementation strategy. It will include:

• Work session to understand technology and data landscape including any existing Power BI infrastructure such as tenant configuration, workspaces and licensing.
• Identifying existing data estate, including any data warehousing, ETL, ELT processes, and databases.
• Work session to understand security requirements and data governance.
• Work session to identify short term & long-term goals.

At the end of the assessment, we will provide a report with our findings, recommendation for a Microsoft Fabric architecture, licensing including per user or per organization capacities, and an implementation strategy.
