3Cloud’s AzureReady™ 4-Week Cloud Readiness Assess
3Cloud’s AzureReady™ Cloud Readiness Assessment is an engagement designed to help clients determine costs associated with running their environment in Azure and developing a detail migration plan.
3Cloud’s AzureReady™ Cloud Readiness Assessment is a 3- to 6-week engagement designed to help clients better understand costs associated with running their environment in Azure and developing a detailed plan to migrate.
Phase 1: Assess
Our dedicated team of Analysts will guide you through deploying a data center scan to capture sizing and resource consumption patterns. Equipped with the data scan information, your feedback and other insights, we will use our proprietary pricing and optimization models to provide you with a series of Azure pricing scenarios to help inform our recommendation and your decision on how to most cost-effectively move to Azure.
As we consider your Azure pricing scenarios, we will consider your needs in networking, compute, storage, security, operations (management, monitoring), backup and disaster recovery as well as other recommended third-party online services. At the end of phase 1 our Analysts and Architects will review your Azure Consumption Estimate and recommended next steps in developing a plan to migrate to Azure (phase 2).
Phase 2: Plan
Phase 2 of the Cloud Readiness Assessment builds upon phase 1’s recommendations and findings in parallel with your feedback. Based on scope and goals identified in phase 1, our National Practice Directors, Architects and Consultants will work with your team to develop a detailed plan to migrate to Azure. Some deliverables coming out of phase 2 of the Cloud Readiness Assessment include:
Comparative Financial Analyses – Comparison of costs of operating your current data center operations versus costs of operating on Azure, including migration cost.
Application Portfolio Analyses – Readiness and complexity assessment of application targeted for the Azure platform, with recommended migration approach (5 R’s of rationalization). Analyses range in level of detail including code-level review, if required.
Summary of Technical Architecture – Definition of future-state
