Data Platform in 30 Days is an engagement to modernize the data estate in Azure complete with production ready proof-of-concept, and hands-on skilling to show the power of data in Azure.

Phase 1: Use case identification • Workshop to identify up to 3 scenarios to model in Azure • Service and architecture patterns (e.g., Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Stream Analytics, Cosmos DB, Cognitive Services, Power BI, etc.) may vary based on the Customers scenario or use case and may include, but are not limited to, the following: • Modernize Data Platform – Customer desires to modernize their Data Estate and desires to start fresh with an Intelligent Data Platform using Azure and Azure Data Services
• Consolidate Data – Customer has disparate data sources (on-prem, in-cloud) and desires to consolidate their data in Azure leveraging Azure Data Services • Harness and visualize Data for Insights – Customer has the data needed to make key decisions, but cannot access the data easily, or it needs additional transformation to provide the desired insights. Democratize data with Power BI.

Phase 2: Landing Zone • Azure Landing Zone deployed per CAF guidance
• Customer scenarios addressed via Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Stream Analytics, CosmosDB, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Warehouse, Power BI.

Phase 3: Transition Data Platform to Customer • Fully operational Data Platform delivered to the customer

• underpinned by ADS
• supporting up to 3 Customer Scenarios • Azure Cost consumption estimates • Azure Tenant with applicable Azure Data Services is deployed in Azure • Customer Skilling via collaborative hands-on approach with the Partner

Executive Summary - overview of engagement scope, customer objectives, results of modernization and recommendations for next steps • Identify the specific Customer Use Cases or Scenarios from the Analysis & Design Workshop • Strategy + Plan Workshop aligned to Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework
• Discussion of current customer infrastructure and proposal to help customers transition to the cloud and embark on modernization initiatives.
• Cloud Adoption Plan
• Governance recommendation for security, identity, resource management, cost control, deployment acceleration • Deploy Azure Architecture Design (ADS) with Service recommendations • Proposal for additional services (e.g., support, Data Migration, CAF engagement, portfolio analysis, etc.)
