Discovery stage

During this stage Volo’s DevOps team composes the full range of on-prem physical and virtual servers of the client.

Mapping stage

Information and performance metrics (KPIs if available) of the existing applications are compiled, as well as inventory mechanisms are leveraged to feed data into subsequent steps.

Evaluation stage

At this final stage of assessment, DevOps team evaluates the best migration scenarios for applications (and groups) with mapped dependencies, as well as provides resource recommendations via the use of cloud migration assessment tools. Finally, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of Azure infrastructure is calculated and quantified versus the existing on-premises costs per application.
