SoftEther VPN is an open-source multi-protocol VPN software developed by the University of Tsukuba, Japan. It provides a flexible and scalable VPN solution with support for various protocols, including SSL-VPN, L2TP/IPsec, OpenVPN, and Microsoft SSTP. SoftEther can be used for both client-to-server and site-to-site VPN configurations.

Note: To start configuring your VPN server, navigate to the /usr/local/vpnserver folder using the following commands in a terminal:

    # sudo systemctl start vpnserver
    # cd /usr/local/vpnserver/
    # ./vpncmd
  
This will launch the SoftEther VPN Server Manager, where you can begin configuring your VPN settings.
