Azure Orbital is a fully managed cloud-based ground station as a service that lets you communicate with your spacecrafts or satellite constellations, downlink and uplink data, process your data in the cloud, chain services with Azure services in unique scenarios, and generate products for your customers. Create a Contact Profile resource to define your contact configuration and manage the data destination and/or endpoint. Once the resource is created and a spacecraft is registered with Azure, you can begin scheduling contacts with this contact profile using the antennas in the Azure Orbital network.

Use the Contact Profile resource to:

• Define a set of mission parameters for use and reuse with Azure Orbital
• Specify the destination for downlinked payload data
• Specify the source for uplink payload data
