AKS Implementation ( Kubernetes Implementation)

BlazeClan Technologies Pvt. Ltd

Blazeclan offers AKS implementation which is a powerful tool for swiftly developing and deploying cloud-native applications in Azure

Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is a rapid & efficient solution for developing & deploying cloud-native applications in Azure. It offers built-in code-to-cloud pipelines & security measures, streamlining the process of modern application development. AKS provides automated management & scalability, making it a cost-effective choice for deploying microservices architecture.

To ensure a successful AKS deployment, Blazeclan’ s team of certified engineers conducts comprehensive AKS readiness workshops across various domains, including Business, Platform, Security, People, Governance, & Operations. During these workshops, Blazeclan collaborates closely with Customer SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to thoroughly evaluate the existing applications & define a precise cloud deployment strategy & cluster configuration. This offer is limited for one application having 4 components/microservice. It is assumed that customer already have Azure L&ing zone implemented

Key Points:

- Managed Kubernetes: Microsoft takes care of the underlying infrastructure, including the control plane, making it easier for you to focus on your applications.

- Container Orchestration: popular open-source container orchestration platform. It helps you automate the deployment, scaling, & management of containerized applications.

- Integration with Azure Services: integrates with other Azure services like Azure AD, Azure Monitor, ACR, & more.

- Scaling: It also supports auto-scaling based on CPU utilization, helping you optimize resource usage.

- Security: Azure provides security features such as Azure Security Center, Azure Policy, & Azure Active Directory integration to help secure your AKS clusters & workloads.

- Networking: AKS offers various networking options, including VNets, CNI, & the Azure Container Network Policy.

- DevOps Integration: (CI/CD) pipelines for AKS using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other popular tools.

- Monitoring & Logging: allowing you to gain insights into your cluster.

- Deployment Flexibility: YAML manifests, Helm charts, or Azure Dev Spaces for a streamlined development experience.

- Hybrid & Multi-Cloud: Azure Arc allows you to extend AKS management to on-premises environments & other cloud providers.

- Cost Management: Azure Cost Management & Billing tools help you monitor & optimize your AKS-related costs.

TimeLine:

Week 1: Planning & Preparation

  • Define your project scope, objectives, & requirements. Identify the applications or workloads you plan to containerize & deploy on AKS.
  • Create an Azure account if you don't already have one. Determine your budget & subscription requirements.
  • Develop a high-level architecture & design for your AKS cluster. Decide on the number of nodes, regions, & availability zones.

Week 2: Setting Up Azure Resources

  • Create a virtual network (VNet) in Azure if you don't have one already. Set up network security groups (NSGs) & subnets.
  • Provision an Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) cluster. Configure networking, including Virtual Network Peering if necessary.
  • Secure your AKS cluster by configuring RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) & implementing Azure Active Directory integration if required.

Week 3: Application Containerization

  • Containerize your applications using Docker or other containerization tools. Create Docker files & push containers to a container registry like Azure Container Registry (ACR).
  • Test your containerized applications locally to ensure they run as expected.
  • Set up a CI/CD pipeline to automate container builds & deployments to AKS.

Week 4:Deploying Production Applications to AKS

  • Deploy your containerized applications to the AKS cluster for testing in a non-production environment.
  • Implement monitoring & logging solutions (e.g., Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics) to gain visibility into your AKS cluster & applications.
  • Conduct load & performance testing to ensure your applications can h&le production workloads.
  • Plan your production deployment strategy, including rolling updates & canary deployments.
  • Implement scaling & auto-scaling policies based on traffic patterns.
  • Perform a production deployment of your containerized applications to AKS. Monitor the deployment closely for any issues.

Week 5: Validation:

Upon completion of the implementation, our team will perform comprehensive validation of the deployed Azure l&ing zone to ensure its functionality & reliability. zone.
