Azure Synapse Analytics: 2-Week Proof of Concept

FyrSoft LLC

In FyrSoft’s Azure Synapse Analytics 2-Wk PoC, our experts will assess, migrate a workload and demonstrate the benefits of Azure Synapse Analytics.

FyrSoft experts will guide you through a two-week session on how to build and execute your vision of the future using Azure Synapse Analytics. In FyrSoft’s Azure Synapse Analytics 2-Week PoC, we will assess the value of using Azure Synapse Analytics to drive your data program, assist with the migration of a workload with high business value to the Synapse Analytics Platform, and also demonstrate the benefits of Azure Synapse Analytics. Azure Synapse Analytics brings together multiple sources of data—unstructured and structured, from on-premises, cloud, devices, and LoB. It allows the integration, management, monitoring, and securing of these data sets under a unified experience using familiar systems like SQL and Apache Spark. Natural connections with Power BI and Azure Machine Learning empower business users to make more informed decisions, at a much faster pace.

We will help bring data teams together and enable them to seamlessly and securely collaborate, share, and analyze data. As data integration, data warehousing, and big data analytics can all be done from a single-pane-of-glass, businesses can break down organizational silos that stagnate time to insight.

Day 1:

  1. Assess, analyze, and understand customer pain points in their current data warehouses

Day 2-3:

  1. Present a couple of use cases and pick 1 of the use cases to work with the customer
  2. Set up an Azure Synapse environment working with the customer to build the pilot DW use cases

Day 4-6:

  1. Bring datasets and preprocess the datasets
  2. Pick appropriate data models
  3. Configure Synapse to test and train data models

  1. Build a couple of Power BI reports and key insights that are generated
  2. Finetune the ML use case

Day 10:

  1. Provide a summary report and an overall roadmap for modernizing the customer’s data warehouse and reporting
