Azure VMware Solution - 5 days preliminary assessment
The Azure VMware Solution Assessment streamlines your VMware migration to Azure by evaluating infrastructure, identifying requirements, and estimating costs for an optimized cloud transition.
Azure VMware Solution (AVS) allows you to run VMware environments natively on Azure, leveraging the power and scalability of Microsoft’s public cloud without the need to re-architect or refactor existing applications. AVS provides seamless migration while maintaining consistency with the VMware tools and processes you already use on-premises. This ensures efficient resource management and cost optimization in the cloud, with full integration into Azure services.
Our Azure VMware Solution Preliminary Assessment is designed to offer a comprehensive evaluation of your current VMware infrastructure and its migration to Azure. Over 5 days, we will assess your infrastructure, identify application dependencies and networking requirements, and provide a detailed estimate of expected consumption on Azure.
AGENDA Day 1: Kick-off meeting: review of the current VMware infrastructure Day 2: Assessment of workloads and dependencies: performance analysis and optimization Day 3: Identification of networking requirements for migration: review of security and connectivity protocols Day 4: Migration planning and technical feasibility check: identification of potential challenges Day 5: Presentation of Azure consumption estimate, final discussion with the team, delivery of results and recommendations
DELIVERABLES Application map evaluation – A comprehensive overview of your current applications and their dependencies. Migration feasibility assessment – Identification of minimum networking and security requirements for a successful migration. Azure consumption estimate – A projection of the costs and resources required to run your infrastructure in Azure.
This assessment provides a clear roadmap to streamline and accelerate the migration process to Azure VMware Solution, ensuring a smooth and optimized transition to the cloud.
