Azure VMware Solution Implementation: 4-Wk Imp

Customers beginning the Journey to the Cloud usually do not have personnel trained and experienced with Azure and an experienced partner as 4MSTech can be used to enhance maturity level of customers and speedup migration and modernization projects. Quickly implementing an Azure VMware Solution (AVS) is a way to use Azure services and well-know datacenter technologies on the same place, all integrated. 4MSTech uses knowledge of both components to deliver top quality services. This service includes design and implementation of an Azure infrastructure for AVS. 4MSTech brings Foundational concepts and sets up a Landing Zone environment adequate to customers’ needs using proven processes and tools. In addition, our cost control and governance experience help avoiding unplanned Cloud consumption. Beyond that brings tools and processes to evaluate applications dependency, components, and Application architecture, including effort to adjust application or database components to run smoothly on PaaS on Azure.

Service Delivery is split in 4 phases (below some basic deliverables): Phase I – Assessment and Planning • Design Azure environment, network architecture and project planning • Assess customer business needs • Assess Datacenter, including VMware, and/or Cloud (Azure and competitors) infrastructure components (Network, Storage, Backup, Services) • Governance (Security, Cost Control) • Application Components and dependency Phase II – Adjusts and Enablement • Provision an Azure tenant and set up Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) • Provision the required administrator roles in Azure AD • Network connection from Azure to Datacenter on-premises or Cloud through VPN GW • Landing Zone creation, including Vnets, NSGs, Storage Accounts, Recovery Service Vaults, among others, and AVS setup Phase III – Implementation • Implementation of AVS • Migration of up to 5 (five) VMs from VMware on-premises to AVS • Cutover and go-live • Backup enablement Phase IV – Stabilization • Tuning • Rightsizing evaluation • End User Training and Documentation
