Space Azure Stack HCI: 3 Wks Implementation
Azure Stack HCI Implementation in 3 weeks
Azure Stack HCI is a purpose build HCI operating system delivered as an Azure service.
First, it remains an enterprise-class, software defined, hyperconverged infrastructure running Hyper-V, Storage Spaces Direct, and Azure inspired networking. Azure Stack HCI features stretch clustering for disaster recovery with Storage Spaces Direct. The Azure Stack HCI stretch cluster solution provides automatic failover to restore production quickly and without the need for manual intervention. Storage Replica provides the replication of volumes across sites for disaster recovery, with all servers staying in sync. You can choose either synchronous or asynchronous replication. Customers can configure unidirectional replication to create an active-passive stretch cluster or bidirectional replication for active-active.
Azure Stack HCI is born hybrid with deep integration into Azure. Azure Stack HCI is its own resource provider (i.e. Azure service) in Azure, meaning that the clusters are represented in Azure as discrete resources that you manage with the Azure control plane, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM). That means you can manage Azure Stack HCI with the Azure Portal and programmatically with the Azure CLI, PowerShell, and the REST APIs. You can also apply Azure governance constructs like tags, access controls, and policies to your on-premises resources. This is all made possible using the Azure Arc service.
The solution will always be kept up-to-date with annual feature updates and monthly quality and security updates. It’s also easy to integrate the capabilities of other Azure services.
