The HashiCorp Terraform Extension for Visual Studio Code (VS Code) with the Terraform Language Server adds editing features for Terraform files such as syntax highlighting, IntelliSense, code navigation, code formatting, module explorer and much more!

Visual Studio Code is a free and open-source code editor, which runs on the macOS, Linux, and Windows operating systems. Visual Studio Code is a lightweight but powerful source code editor which runs on your desktop and is available for Windows.

Terraform is an open-source infrastructure as code (IaC) tool that allows you to build, change, and version infrastructure safely and efficiently. This includes low-level components such as compute instances, storage, and networking, as well as high-level components such as DNS entries, SaaS features, etc. Terraform can manage both existing service providers and custom in-house solutions.

Quick Start : -

To activate the extension, open any folder or VS Code workspace containing Terraform files. Once activated, the Terraform language indicator will appear in the bottom right corner of the window.
