CentOS 8 provides a secure, stable, and high performance execution environment to develop and run cloud and enterprise applications. This Frontline Launch VM is updated and maintained regularly. This is the CentOS 8 x86_64 that has been built with a minimal profile, suitable for use in HVM instance types only. The image contains just enough packages to run within Azure, bring up an SSH Server and allow users to login. It provides a stable, secure, and high performance execution environment for all workloads. Included with this VM is documentation, a security report provided by Frontline Audit. Please note that this is the default CentOS 8 VM Image that our security professionals recommend. Frontline provides ongoing security and maintenance updates on a regular basis to all instances running CentOS 8 VM Image.
