The Avere vFXT for Azure arms application owners and computing directors tasked with managing critical high-performance computing (HPC) workloads with scalability, flexibility, and easy access to cloud and file-based storage locations.
  • Performance: Automatic identification and caching of hot data needed for demanding workloads, minimizing storage latency for heavy-read environments
  • Access: File-based HPC can access Azure compute resources from either on-premises network-attached storage (NFS/SMB) or Azure Blob (REST)
  • Flexibility: Get the flexibility of having the scale of Azure at your fingertips to support critical workloads
  • The Avere vFXT caches active data closest to compute nodes in Azure Compute, initially reading data from its home in on-premises NFS NAS or in Azure Blob.
