Trellix Intrusion Prevention System Manager (Manager) is a MLOS operating system based virtual machine that makes it easy to protect hybrid cloud environments using a Unified Management Console. It allows you to manage policies with unmatched speed, accuracy, and simplicity. It also has an inbuilt controller called Local Controller that works as central enforcement for managing vIPS Probes and network and security policies. The Manager software has a web-based user interface for configuring and managing vIPS Local Controller, vIPS External Controllers, and Virtual IPS Sensors.

Manager functions are configured and managed through a user interface that includes complimentary interfaces for alerts, system status, system configuration, report generation, and fault management.
