LibreNMS image is an open source, fully featured network monitoring system preconfigured for Azure. It is most suitable for people who want to get started fast with open source cloud, on-premise and network device monitoring. LibreNMS can be used to monitor servers, network devices and applications via SNMP and ICMP. Monitored targets can be auto-discovered or entered manually or via the API. Remote pollers can be added to cover different networks. LibreNMS also supports checking services such as HTTPS/HTTP, DNS, LDAP and TCP via built-in Nagios plugins support. LibreNMS has flexible alerting capabilities with numerous alert transports including, but not limited to, email, IRC, Slack and Pagerduty. Creating bills based on data transfer on monitored ports is also supported. Both Android and iOS apps are available. Very little knowledge is needed to get started with LibreNMS, but when your monitoring needs grow LibreNMS can be extended as needed using SNMP applications, custom service checks and automation via the API.
