Linux 8.3 with Gogs - Git Service Server

The Gogs project aims to build a simple, stable and extensible self-hosted Git service that can be setup in the most painless way. With Go, this can be done with an independent binary distribution across ALL platforms that Go supports, including Linux, macOS, Windows and ARM.

Gogs has low minimal requirements and can run on an inexpensive Raspberry Pi. Some users even run Gogs instances on their NAS devices.

Gogs has excellent performance and is very light. It has very minimal RAM and CPU utilization. A VPS with 1 CPU core and 256MB RAM is enough to start using the service.

Some of the most important characteristics of Gogs also include:

• SMTP and LDAP support;
• The ability to create both private and public repositories;
