Ravnur Media Services (RMS) is a scalable media (video and audio) encoding and streaming service deployed as a PaaS managed application to your Azure subscription. You gain full visibility and control over your Azure Services without increasing your management burden, because Ravnur manages both the RMS solution and Azure environment.

If you already use Azure Media Services and want a low effort migration path, you’re in luck. You can continue to use the Azure SDK to work with the RMS API, and the RMS API is a mirror of the AMS API. With minor adjustments to your existing implementation, you can continue to encode, store and stream media assets.
