Migration to Azure with Optional Post-migration Managed Services -- providing performance and availability monitoring, backup and disaster recovery management, patching and system maintenance, threat management, and optimization.
- Free or discounted migration when packaged with a Stratum MSP agreement
- “Modernization”, “Lift-and-shift”, or “Greenfield” approaches for moving existing resources in any cloud or physical data center into Microsoft Azure
- Lift-and-shift: Quickly lift Virtual Machines, Databases, and existing infrastructure in a like-for-like manner into Microsoft Azure for a rapid move into the Cloud
- Modernization: A thorough analysis and migration from traditionally hosted workloads such as VMs and hosted Databases into more cost effective and efficient Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings from Microsoft.
- Greenfield: If you are looking to start fresh in Microsoft Azure, we’ll assist with the initial sizing of resources and also provide you a cloud-centered approach for network architecture to host your new environment. You can then move your existing applications and workloads into this freshly deployed environment.
- Regardless of migration strategy, all migrations include:
- Assessment - Prior to migration, Stratum performs a comprehensive assessment of your company's infrastructure, networking, application dependencies, backup/disaster recovery considerations, and business projections.
- Project management - Stratum outlines a detailed project plan for deliverables, milestones, timelines, and resources required for your workload migration to Azure.
- Migration - Stratum will work with your company to decide the preferred method of migration, whether that be lift-and-shift, greenfield, modernization, or a combination. We will work with your company through the entire process to ensure that your production cutover goes smoothly.
- Stabilize - Post-migration, Stratum will stabilize the Azure environment prior to transitioning to the customer, or optionally hand the environment off to the Stratum Managed Services team.
- Stratum will also provide cost optimization steps including:
- Evaluation of existing licenses to ensure Azure Hybrid Benefit cost savings are realized post-migration.
- Sizing analysis and Azure reservation recommendations post migration.
