Openfire (previously known as Wildfire, and Jive Messenger) is an XMPP server written in Java. It’s a highly useful utility, called to simplify your work with communication in a team. You get the ability to create a variety of chats that can conduct 50,000 concurrent users in one chat.

Most administration of the server is done through a web interface, which runs on ports 9090 (HTTP) and 9091 (HTTPS) by default. Administrators can connect from anywhere and edit the server's settings, add and delete users, conference rooms, and so forth. Openfire presents a clear way of creating and administering chats without extra difficulties.
