Cloud Migration Assessment: 6 days Assessment

The Cloud migration assessment allows companies to conduct the migration of an identified scope of applications, servers or systems to Azure. To achieve the migration successfully, Cegeka starts with some preliminary steps.

The migration plan is meant to define the sequence of steps needed to complete the migration. The steps are defined based on the size of the scope and on the dependencies between applications in scope.

The target design defines the components of the Azure environment needed to host the applications in scope.

The migration design is slightly different than the target design. It involves the target design but also includes the components needed temporarily to conduct the migration.

Cegeka will document the complete approach and share thiss documentation with the customer.

APPROACH

The study contains both workshops and technical assessments. During the study, the following information is gathered:

• Defenition of the scope of the migration
• Current application and resources inventory
• Current architecture
• Dependencies between applications
• Target design objectives
• Timing constraints (maintenance windows,…)
