ScoreCapture was founded in South Africa and began as a tournament management tool specifically designed to run any golf tournaments, being official or social. Through identifying the needs of the golfers and golf communities (societies, clubs and unions), ScoreCapture has become a comprehensive digital solution for golf by developing various features and functions that reduces time-consuming administration duties, eradicates common mistakes, increases efficiency, improves communications, and significantly boosts the enjoyment of the game across the nation.

The ScoreCapture system has a main web page and a media web page, as well as a free mobile App (Apple App Store and Google Play Store), that includes a detailed profile page of every person who has played a game in a ScoreCapture tournament or has entered a score on the ScoreCapture system manually or through a game set up on the App. Each community has its own specific web page/dashboard and has access to their tournament schedule and member management module, including a powerful communications tool.

ScoreCapture’s mission is to boost the golfer’s enjoyment of the game by creating more excitement through the live leaderboards and giving the player more tools to improve his/her game with exciting features like GPS for all courses and analytical tools. We encourage golfers to start or organize their community with our tournament and event module, making it more appealing for new members, thereby growing the game and attracting more sponsors to the sport.

Our mantra includes educating the golfer, improving record keeping and enhancing the integrity of the game, increasing revenue while reducing admin for the communities we service, and rewarding the individual golfers for various achievements that results in the amateurs feeling like they are the pros.

We provide a solution, not only for the unions and clubs, but the smaller societies and golf tours as well, bringing the full power of the system to the individual golfer and their schools.

ScoreCapture run many leagues for golf unions, clubs and societies - this assists in ensuring the results are presented live and the league tables are updated immediately, while boosting the enjoyment of everyone involved. Seasons, fixtures are all set up in the backend and team captains can select their teams on the web or the app and players can simply enter their scores on the mobile app, hole-by-hole on the day and afterwards, the scores are verified and the league tables are updated.

ScoreCapture has a unique peer-to-peer verification for every player on the app, legitimising the digital scorecard, as players have to confirm their score and other members of the 4-ball need to sign as marker, so their scores are then verified. A "Competition Qualification Rating" which pulls all of this verification data together, brings a new level of credibility to the electronic scoring and the handicap index of the players.

Players can also enter their stats, like putts made, accuracy off the tee, short game data etc like the pros do, resulting in over 36 graphs to analyse your game and to assist the golfer to identify areas of weakness and address them, getting better all the time.
