Azure Landing Zone: 3 Weeks Implementation

The Azure Landing zone deployment services is a set of standardized guidelines s which allows customers to have a secure and compliant environment for migrating existing workloads and deploying new workloads onto the Cloud.

The benefit of the solution is the enablement of rapidly deploying workloads without building up infrastructure from scratch. The Azure Landing zone is designed to scale with your use of Azure.

APPROACH

The Azure Landing Zone contains following elements:

• Governance  - adherence to best practices around Azure subscription configuration, Azure AD, role-based access controls, resource creation policy, and cost management ​
• Identity and access management - providing secure access through Azure AD and RBAC
• Connectivity - Azure Virtual Networks, using a hub-spoke topology, to support migration/deployment of shared services and application-specific workloads ​
• Management and security - use of Azure native resources to provide a secure landing zone environment ​
• Platform automation and DevOps – automation is central to our approach
