The Azure HPC Cache provides filesystem performance and scalability for computationally intensive workloads. Easy to launch from the Azure portal, gain low-latency access to file-based storage locations both on-premises and in the cloud. Customers use the Azure HPC Cache to optimize the accessibility of data needed for active jobs to build large-scale efficiencies.

Easy to set up and manage with a simple interface right in the Azure portal and an aggregated namespace to simplify storage access.
Able to automatically identify hot data being used in active jobs and provide very fast access to that data.
Flexible scale that you can grow and reduce to match demand
Able to support NFS and Azure Blob storage environments

With Azure HPC Cache, you can achieve the performance and scale needed for your data-intensive workflows.

You can quickly create an Azure HPC Cache resource and match storage to the cache.

Note: To use Azure Blob storage, an empty container is required. Either create a new container before starting this process or add the Blob storage later. Learn more about prerequisites and about choosing the throughput setting for your cache.
