SharePoint has best-in-class document storage and sharing capabilities. But if you want to collect files and documents without logging in or compromising security, there's still room for improvement:

• The portal requires extra configuration to share a folder with someone and send him/her a link.

• Users have to create a Microsoft account, verify it, and sign in every time to upload files.

• Anyone with a link to a shared folder can see its contents.

• It doesn’t allow for branding the user interface (UI) where files are uploaded.
