DIVA is a video experience platform that synchronizes sport and entertainment video and data, creating rich user interactivity.

It has been designed to accomplish two goals. First, to provide rights owners and rights holders a tool to broadcast their video content to end users. And second, to do so in a way that delivers exceptional customer satisfaction and delight around the consumption of video content - in turn increasing dwell time, interactivity, and retention.

DIVA is split into three components.

The DIVA Player is a native player that is embedded into an app and is the component that plays back the video itself. It is unique in the level of fan-first, lean-forward functionality it offers to really immerse the viewer into the action, including live data synchronisation, multi-cam and timeline navigation.

The Player talks natively to the DIVA Back Office, which is an editorial tool that controls data synchronisation, timeline markers, advertising breaks, chapter markers, player settings and allows operators to manage events - both live and on-demand.

And then - behind the scenes, there is a full video workflow, which exists to acquire content from multiple various sources - for example, via satellite distribution - encode, transcode, package up, configure or secure the content itself and distribute it onto a CDN.
