Azure Video Analyzer is an Azure Applied AI Service that provides a platform for you to build intelligent video applications that can span both edge and cloud infrastructures. The Video Analyzer Edge module is designed to be an extensible platform. Along with its extensibility options you can also connect to your existing IP cameras enabling you to unlock additional value to drive positive business outcomes. The module is designed for low latency, resiliency, bandwidth and compliance efficiency. Its rich extensibility allows you to integrate with AI inferencing modules such as the Azure Cognitive Service’s Custom Vision service and Spatial Analysis capability. It can integrate with Intel’s OpenVINO™ Model Server – Edge AI Extension Module and OpenVINO™ DL Streamer – Edge AI Extension Module. It can also connect to custom inferencing modules that have been trained with your own data using either open-source machine learning or Azure Machine Learning. It also enables you to use an edge device as a transparent gateway for downstream cameras to connect to the Video Analyzer service over a secure channel. This allows you to capture, record, and stream low-latency video from the cloud. Video Analyzer Edge module can also communicate with ONVIF enabled cameras for ONVIF device discovery and ONVIF profile queries.
