Thales Data Platform is a Big Data platform based on Hadoop technology. It includes services such as Knox (gateway to access to the Hadoop services), HDFS (distributed file system), HBase (database on top of HDFS), PQS (Phoenix Query Server used on top of Hbase), Spark (analytics engine for large-scale data processing) and Livy (REST interface for Spark). Thales Data Platform is a prerequisite for Thales CipherTrust Manager's users that want to leverage Data Discovery Classification and Intelligent Remediation solutions for sensitive data discovery and remediation. Thales Data Platform is used to process, store and classify scan results and it acts as a database to retrieve information for reports generation.
