Phirestream redacts Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and other sensitive information from data streams. Working in front of Apache Kafka, Phirestream can help prevent sensitive information from entering your data streams and consuming applications. With its API and comprehensive configuration options, Phirestream gives you full control over what information to redact and how to redact it. In addition to redaction, sensitive information in data streams can also be encrypted or anonymized. Phirestream supports over 30 types of predefined sensitive information and custom types can be added. Phirestream can be used with Apache Kafka on HDInsight or other distribution of Apache Kafka.
