UiPath Attended Robots - This kind of robot shares an employee's workstation. The employee controls where and when to use the robot. The attended robot is triggered by an action of the employee and can run automation in tandem with the user, request input, monitor user & track activity. One example use case is contact center agent desktop automation.

UiPath Unattended Robots - Autonomous software robots programmed to run unattended and automate any number of back office activities, around the clock, with exceptional speed and precision. The back-office robot can be remotely controlled from a web console and it is usually deployed in a virtual machine. Typical use cases include invoice processing, Service & app monitoring.
