Linux 7.9 with Jellyfin Streaming Server

The Jellyfin project is a powerful and flexible software media server that allows you to organize, manage, and share digital media files to networked devices. It is an alternative to the proprietary Emby and Plex to provide media from a dedicated server to end-user devices via multiple apps.

Web-browser on your computer, apps on your Android, iOS (including AirPlay), Android TV, or Fire TV device, or your Chromecast or existing Kodi installation - all these could be used to watch media from your server!

Jellyfin is a fully functional dedicated server, therefore it has no tracking, phone-home, or central servers collecting your data. The developer team believes in keeping software open and transparent, and anything that might be collected (crash logs, etc.) is opt-in only.

Amongst the features provided by Jellyfin there are:

• Organize broadcasting of your favorite series in any convenient way, for example by seasons
• Record live TV and save it to your library
• Hold your media collection with movie posters & album covers
• Create a music playlist and listen to it whenever you want

Jellyfin is extensible, so optional third-party plugins exist to provide additional feature functionality. The project hosts an official repository, however, plugins should not necessarily be hosted in the official repository to be installable.[
