Azure Data Science Virtual Machine for PyTorch

The ' Azure Data Science Virtual Machine for PyTorch (ACPT DSVM) ' is optimized for high-performance, large-scale, distributed deep learning tasks. Built on top of Azure HPC Ubuntu image and comes preinstalled and validated with the latest PyTorch version to significantly reduce setup time and maximize efficiency. This VM comes with a suite of optimization packages, including the latest ONNX Runtime, DeepSpeed, MSCCL, ORT MoE, Fairscale, Nvidia Apex, as well as an up-to-date stack with the latest compatible versions of Ubuntu, Python, PyTorch, CUDA, HPC, etc.

• "Azure Ubuntu HPC" image from Azure Marketplace
• "HPC, Nvidia drivers, CUDA Toolkit, cuDNN (when GPU machines are used).
• Docker
• Anaconda ("conda")
• Git
• Multiple access option: remote Desktop, SSH or browser (eg: Jupyter Hub). Optionally, the VM can be placed in a corporate network.

If needed, configurations can be adjusted, and additional frameworks can be installed like any other virtual machine.

Maintenance and protection against vulnerabilities of provisioned DSVMs are the customer's responsibility.

Note:

• This DSVM is not supported for Windows.
• This Azure DSVM for PyTorch will be release monthly at the first day of each Month.
• A10 is not supported for ACPT DSVM Ubuntu 20.04.
