The Serial Port Receiver is a Receiver that will be activated on startup and connects to a configured Serial Port on its device. Every time data is received on the serial port, the Receiver will just take the content of that data and forward it into the channel, as a UTF8 encoded data stream. Output The output of the Receiver is the native payload of the serial port events, UTF8 encoded. This receiver is payload agnostic and does not perform interpretation, but just passes through data.
