IDEMIA’s Smart Connect Consumer platform prepares, stores and downloads mobile operator profiles to the eSIM of consumer devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, wearables…) over-the-air.

IDEMIA Smart Connect Consumer is made of two major components:

· Digital Personalization System - DPS: A digital factory for eSIM, producing digital assets called eSIM profiles. It enables just-in-time eSIM profile generation, thus simplifying mobile operators back-end processes and delivering the most adequate user experience for each device, context, and use case.

· Subscription Manager - SM-DP+: Ensures data storage and remote download on the soldered chip of the eSIM. It is compliant with the latest GSMA RSP Consumer specifications, and adds features that go beyond the specifications.

Smart Connect Consumer addresses interoperability, obsolescence and inventory management overhead by keeping things as simple as possible thanks to its key advanced features, such as:

· eSIM Profile Customization: Enables mobile operators to modify any eSIM profile element and/or metadata via a simple API call, until the very last moment before the download.

· eSIM Profile Dynamic Adaptation: Adapts the eSIM profile dynamically by detecting each specific device and eUICC capabilities.

· eSIM Profile Reprocessing: Allows mobile operators to reprocess and therefore update a whole set of eSIM profiles. Recycling and updating existing eSIM profile improves interoperability and removes obsolescence.
