Create smart integrations with the Van Doren Messaging service. This application's intended purpose is send status messages to end users. Typical users of the application are technical service employees, system administrators or PLC engineers. The service is equipped with a web API, so that any state of the art application can use this service to send messages to end users. By doing so, any subscribed user receives a message on their smart device so they can act on it immediately. This service makes it possible to notify users of system failures and thus prevents such failures from going unnoticed for longer timespans. Moreover, the service can act as a request-reply service. In this way, a user can request the status of a certain system on which the Messaging Service will reply with the actual system status. While the application's initial intended use is to connect with PLCs, it can be set up to connect with any device or application that can execute HTTP requests.
